Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Emerald OS ("Emerald", "we", "us") is an operating system for intelligence-powered schools, built initially around the needs of CBSE institutions. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the Founding 20 application process, and how we use it.
You can reach us at any time at dxbinterface@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a Founding 20 application or newsletter signup, we collect:
- Institution details — school name, board, approximate student count and number of campuses.
- Contact details — your name, role, work email and, if provided, phone number.
- Your message — what you tell us your school needs first.
Like most websites, we may also receive standard technical information (browser type, pages visited, approximate region) from our hosting provider.
3. How we use your information
- To review and respond to your Founding 20 application within 48 hours.
- To contact you about the pilot programme, onboarding and cohort decisions.
- To send field notes and product updates, if you subscribed to them.
- To improve this website and understand demand across boards and regions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use school application data to train AI models, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that operate this website and its forms (for example, our form-delivery and hosting providers), who process it only on our instructions.
4. Retention
We keep application information for up to 24 months so we can inform you when new cohorts open. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing dxbinterface@gmail.com.
5. Student data
This website does not collect student personal data. Once a school becomes a customer, the Emerald OS platform processes student information under a separate data-processing agreement with the institution, which remains the controller of that data. The institution decides what is stored, who can access it, and when it is deleted.
6. Security
Information submitted through this site is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our form-delivery provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to application data to the founding team and review it only for cohort-selection purposes.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of the information we hold about you at any time by writing to dxbinterface@gmail.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
